About Us – Design for Love (DFL)

At Design for Love (DFL), we are more than just a fashion brand—we are pioneers of a movement. Proudly Nigerian, we lead the African fashion revolution, giving traditional fabrics like Ankara, Adire, and Aso Oke a contemporary twist. Our designs seamlessly merge African heritage with modern aesthetics, crafting pieces that are both timeless and universal, appealing to fashion lovers across the globe.

However, our story goes beyond creating beautiful clothes. At DFL, fashion is a force for change.We are committed to addressing unemployment and empowering marginalized communities through our unique value chain. To date, we’ve trained and employed over 150 youths, with an inspiring 50% of those roles filled by women.

We also collaborate with underserved women in local communities, helping preserve Nigeria’s rich fashion heritage while uplifting their lives. Our efforts don’t stop there—sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Through circular production practices, we repurpose fabric offcuts and donated garments to create stylish accessories like clutches and laptop bags, reducing waste and protecting our environment.
